      1. (1881 census) James and Jane having children Catherine, Thomas and Margaret.

      2. (1875 Gazeteer) James has a son Thomas in Carman Man. plus three daughters: Mrs. A. Lake of Hespeler, Margaret at home, and Miss Mary of Mount Clair, New Jersey

      3. Thomas in 1901 census is in Carman and his age agrees with the Thomas of the 1881 census.
