1958 Chrysler Windsor - 1958 Chrysler Windsor

This is a 354 cu in polyshere head with a two barrel carburetor. The black thing mounted on the firewall closest to camera is the power brake booster. On the far side of that is the heater rad and fan.

The floor boards had rust holes which were all repaired. The dash was removed and refreshed.

The gleam of reflected light across fresh paint gives a foretaste of the finished project.

The front end was rebuilt - all rubber replaced. The totally rebuilt engine was returned to its spot between the frame rails.

The front clip is installed

Here we are in the shop just after grille and bumper were added.

Bumpers were rechromed. New taillight lenses purchased.

New windshield was located via the internet.

March 2008 : The tired old radio gets replaced with... (next pic)

a shiny new one.
