1958 Chrysler Windsor
(10 Slides)
The rubber molding was a real chore. Jay recommends SoffSeal next time.
Pristine new glass is prepped.
Jay is THE guy to call in the Phoenix area.
Getting ready...The previous owner had used wood screws to apply the chrome trim.
Old glass is removed. Look at the far end of it. You can see the crack going from the bottom to the top corner.
The glass cracked 'cause at one point the old window wasn't properly seating in the groove of the moulding. It rested on top, crushing the edge of the moulding and causing a pressure point that eventually cracked the glass.
Almost done.
All thats left is to do is re-install the chrome trim. Len will do that himself later.
